Virginia Tech -8
Va Tech has a trip to the ACC Championship game on the line and have been improving all season, UVA showed some improvement after starting poorly but have not kept that going.

Oklahoma -7
Rivalry games can cause strange things to happen, but not unlike Texas over A&M Thursday night the talent difference here to significant to overlook the Sooners needing some style points.

Tennessee U -3.5
Although they laid an egg in their first game after Fulmer was sent packing we fully expect a huge emotional effort from the Vols against a team they have more talent than.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers -4
Saints offense tough to stop, but they aren't in the cozy Superdome today and the Buccs hungry to get a big win, smart pick says they'll get it here.

Miami Dolphins -9
Rams struggles continue. Another blowout.

Ohio State -20.5
The Buckeyes will relish the opportunity to get a huge win over rival Michigan.

Duke +17
Too many points to turn down as a flat Va Tech team very possible and Duke continues to improve.

Michigan State +15.5
With a strong ground game, Michigan State can slow this game down and keep it close.

NFL Football Predictions Week 12

Tampa Bay -7.5
The Buccs likely to have a big day on offense behind a big day from Garcia against this defense.

Eagles/Ravens UNDER 39.5
Haven't seen either team get much done on offense against stiffer defenses.

New York Giants -3
Cardinals offense solid but they may meet their match here facing a very tough defense and the Giants can put up plenty of points of their own.

Notre Dame -3.5
Things far from perfect for the Golden Domers but they are absolutely showing improvement and Navy has injuries mounting that will hurt them. Notre Dame the winning pick here!

Western Michigan -15
Just don't see much fight left in Toledo - and certainly haven't seen much defense from them.

Arizona/Oregon OVER 51.5

NFL Football Predictions Week 11

Denver Broncos +6.5
Impressed with Matt Ryan and the Falcons, yes but they aren't playing much D and the Broncos can score more than enough to keep this one close.

Ravens/Giants OVER 40.5
Ravens defense is solid but the Giants offense has been very impressive and we've seen just enough from Baltimore to see this game going higher scoring than this relatively low total.

Kansas City Chiefs +5.5
KC playing much better lately, and gaining confidence. Saints D not very good and their offense has been up and down all season long.

Difference here will be the offense and the run game - OK St is better with both!

Georgia Tech +4.5
This one looks close from start to finish with a FG deciding - take the points.

Missouri -26
Will K-State rally behind Ron Prince or have they quit. To us it looks like they quit several weeks ago.

Baylor +26
Have to believe Texas may want to take a deep breath here and may be a bit down after loss last week. Baylor has the offense to stay close against a dis-interested Longhorn team.

New England Patriots -3.5
Perhaps the reason so many thought of the Bills as a "surprise" when they started strong this season is beeing seen now...they are falling aport.

New Orleans/Atlanta OVER 50
Both teams have their offense well ahead of their defense and although the number is elevated we still like a high scoring game.

Texas Tech +3.5
Both teams can score through the air and neither showing much on D although the edge may slight for Tech. Look for the running game to decide this one and from the spread we like the Tech ground attack.

Missouri -20.5
Tigers offense back in high gear and they should easily but up 50+ and we don't believe Baylor can keep up.

Tulsa -7
Easy to quickly think the BCS conf team takes down the Conf USA team stepping up in class. Problem here is that Tulsa has the better athletes and the Arkansas defense simply isn't very good.

NFL Football Predictions Week 9
November 2nd, 2008
Minnesota Vikings -4.5
Texans enjoyed four straight home games against teams that aren't very good. Vikings should take full advantage of weak Texans run D.

Denver Broncos -3
Denver historically outstanding after their bye and should have too much on offense for the Dolphins defense.

Philadelphia Eagles -7
Seattle still has too many problems to contain a Philly team with a healthy backfield.
