Collge Football Week 5 Predictions
September 27th, 2008
MEMBERS ONLY 4 STAR PICK WINS!
Navy +16 ![]()
Wake Forest is a quality team but they rely heavily on emotion to raise their level of play and we just don't see the ability to once again get up for this game and without an all out effort they won't extend the margin this much.
Florida -22.5 ![]()
![]()
The Gators at home simply have way too much for Ole Miss and we look for them to make a concentrated effort to extend the margin by keeping their foot on the gas pedal!
New Mexico State +3.5 ![]()
Home dog in a rivalry game looks too good to pass up.
NFL Football Predictions Week 4
September 28th, 2008
Denver Broncos -9.5 ![]()
![]()
Just don't see how KC can score even close to enough to stay within double digits of the high powered Broncos offense.
Jacksonville Jaguars -7 ![]()
Jags seem to have found their grove supported by the return of a two headed monster running game. Texans don't have the D to stop the run that opens the Jags offense.
San Diego Chargers -7.5 ![]()
![]()
Chargers a bit slow to get it rolling this season but now that they are watch out!
Dallas Cowboys -11 ![]()
Could be a let down for Dallas, but not against Washington, they'll be more than happy to roll up a big win.
College Football Week 4 Predictions
September 20th, 2008
Mississippi -6.5 ![]()
Not sure we trust Vandy on the road and have been impressed enough with Ole Miss making some nice improvements this season.
Missouri -34.5 ![]()
![]()
The Tigers are unstoppable on offense - even conceding that it's come against questionable competition - Buffalo not at all equipped to slow them down. Tigers roll again!
Texas -30 ![]()
We don't think that a fully prepared ready to roll Rice team could stay close to Texas who needs to gain some confidence heading into Big XII play. Rice can't be 100% ready considering recent events and Texas has way too much depth to worry at all about a back door cover.

Atlanta Falcons -6 ![]()
Have seen little to like from either team but the Chiefs turning to Tyler Thigpen seems like they aren't even trying. He's been terrible. Look for a huge day from Turner who runs all over KC allowing Ryan another easy game with play action being very effective.
Seattle Seahawks -9.5
![]()
Seahawks have plenty of problems with injuries but the Rams a great medicine for any ailment these days. Julius Jones should go big and Hassleback will get on track with some very open receivers likely.
Indianapolis Colts -5.5 ![]()
High expectations for the Jags fading very quickly as Garrard looks lost and they can't get the running game going. Colts are out to show that early season struggles are already behind them.

2-0 Three STAR Winning Night on Friday!
Nebraska Cornhuskers -25.5 ![]()
Huskers have not looked great yet this season but should have a great day on offense versus New Mexico State's defense that will offer minimal resistance.
Michigan Wolverines -2 ![]()
Battle of the two winningest programs in history! Hard to believe based on recent editions. Key here is that Michigan should be able to stop the ND run game and making them a passing team only makes them rather easy to stop.
California -15.5 ![]()
Certainly a tough trip for Cal and Maryland will be at a fever pitch for this one at home but Cal simply has too many weapons and too much depth for the Terps.
Friday, September 12th, 2008
Kansas Jayhawks +3.5 ![]()
KU defense has been impressive and although the offense hasn't been in high gear against weaker opponents they've been keeping it vanilla ready to expand the offense and have too much for the USF defense that is certainly fast but may be undersized vs the KU receivers.
Baylor Bears -2.5 ![]()
![]()
Some concern about the focus of Baylor players with Hurricane Ike coming fast but still strongly prefer the Bears facing young QB making first road start for a sputtering offense.
NFL Week 2 Predictions
September 15th, 2008 Monday Night Football
VIP Members Only 3 Star Picks WINS on Sunday!
Eagles/Cowboys OVER 46.5 ![]()
Both teams face much tougher defenses than they did a week ago but there is a lot of talent on offense for both teams. Both teams have playmakers to find the endzone when they penetrate the red zone - this looks like a high scoring game, over the expert pick tonight!
September 14th, 2008
San Francisco 49ers +6.5 ![]()
Just see way too many injuries for the Seahawks plus a seemingly distracted lame duck head coach. Niners can do just enough behind Gore to keep this one close.
Indianapolis Colts -2 ![]()
Tough spot for young Vikings team with a very experienced, very talented Colts team coming in looking to bounce back and get a win after a tough loss last week. Expect Manning and Co to be in high gear.
NFL Football Picks Week 1
September 8th, 2008
Green Bay Packers -2 ![]()
Not impressed much with either QB in this one, but Rodgers is healthy and at home. Jackson not likely 100% and has seen minimal success in the NFL; now he's asked to start on Monday Night on the road. Tough test.
September 7th, 2008
Cincinnati Bengals -2 ![]()
![]()
Don't expect a great season from the Bengals but they look to be the pick here with plenty of weapons against a banged up Ravens teams.
Kansas City Chiefs +15.5 ![]()
Field conditions could favor conservative KC defense and LJ running the ball. Line simply too high to pick with the Super Bowl losing team from a year ago that hasn't covered game 1 the following year in TEN YEARS!
San Diego Chargers -9 ![]()
Impressed with Panthers IF Delhomme shows he's fully recovered and AFTER Steve Smith returns. Superiority of AFC a big key here, play is on the home team Chargers.
September 4th, 2008
NY Giants -4.5 ![]()
Don't expect the Redskins with a new head coach and a new offensive system to be clicking just yet. Giants have issues but are the better team tonight and the clear pick.

Cincinnati +21.5 ![]()
OU certainly impressive last week but step up in competition a factor as is OU's focus. Consider the Bearcats are on a 27-8 ATS run and we like the points making Cinncy the pick!
Miami-FL +23 ![]()
Revenge certainly a big factor for the more talented team the Gators. But the 'Canes will bring their absolute best plus some and make no mistake they have athletes. Longtime intense rivalry - always close - expect this one to be closer than a big number. Take the points - the dog is the pick!
California -13.5 ![]()
![]()
Very impressed by Cal a week ago, can't say the say for Washington State. This matches our early season impressions so despite the road game look for the favorite to roll as a 2-star college football pick by 21 points!
Toledo +22.5 ![]()
Toledo has enough on offense that we can't ignore this stunning number. When favored by just 3 or more at home Arizona is 1-17 against the spread!

Nebraska -14
Expect significant improvement from Nebraska this season and although they're at least a year away from huge strides they have a lot more talent than Western Michigan.
Tulsa/UAB OVER 68.5
Neither team could stop anybody and with explosive passing games for each this should be a shootout. Look for the total to be eclipsed with room to spare.
